Sunday 5 May 2024 – One Metre Day

Conditions

Mild, overcast, wind mainly southerly, force 2 to 4.

Those racing from time to time were: Leslie, Hugh, Daniel, Tom, Will, Alex and Jim.

Wind on the pond was shifting south east through to south west, sometimes a clear fetch to the number one buoy, sometimes entailing tacking. When there were a number of boats approaching the mark, their interaction often held up rounding and a gap grew between early leaders and later boats. Overall a good competitive racing session in mainly light winds, altogether six races were completed.
