Sunday 18 July – Six Metre Day

Conditions

Warm, sunny, wind variable but generally westerly, force 1 to 2.

Those racing from time to time were: Jim, Hugh and Leslie. Grant was an apology.

Winds were light, with lengthy lulls. We also had to keep up with frequent changes in wind direction. We managed to complete 7 races.

Sunday 4 July – One Metre Day

Conditions

Cool, cloudy, wind generally south westerly force 2 to 3.

Those racing from time to time were: Grant, Hugh, Leslie and Jim.

Wind on the pond was generally steady but falling off near the number one buoy which made clearing this mark difficult at at times. We completed eight races altogether.
