Sunday 20 November – Six Metre Day

Conditions

Chilly, sunny, wind westerly, force 3 to 4.

Those racing from time to time were: Ted, Hugh, Jim and Grant.

All 6 metres were in working trim, so no problems racing. Hugh’s boat took on a lot of water by race 2, so decided it would be sensible to retire and dry out properly.

We managed to complete 5 races altogether

A visitor brought an attractive vintage pond yacht which generated interest from members.

Sunday 6 November – One Metre Day

Conditions

Mild, cloudy, rain, wind south westerly, force 3 to 4.

Those racing from time to time were: Hugh, Jim and Ted.

We had a brief window before steady rain set in, and managed to complete four races.
