Welcome to the Clapham Model Yacht Club

August 11, 2006 at 10:46 am | In News | 1 Comment

Nestling on the edge of Clapham Common, just meters away from the long pond is The Clapham Model Yacht Club. The club has been sailing here since it was founded in 1882. Our small but perfectly formed clubhouse was built by members in 1946 and is the idea place for a cuppa between races. Started for racing wind vane yachts, we now only race Radio Controlled yachts on the first and third Sunday of each month

keep up the good work ! (especially the articles aimed at newcomers – they are great and not found on many other sites)
